The Punctilious Mr. P's 'Signs of Spring' place card set was inspired by 18th century illustrations of the life cycle of butterflies and moths. This theme brings nature to your feast. It pairs beautifully with any color of table linens whether you choose to entertain indoors or al fresco in the garden with friends and family.
We brought 'Signs of Spring' to our kitchen tea, a woodland tablescape that brings fantasy to the heart of the house. We believe in bringing charm to every room.
Conversation Sparker:
Often we wonder what sets a butterfly apart from a moth. On the whole, moths are nocturnal while butterflies are diurnal, active during the day. They also differ while at rest. Butterflies usually fold their wings back, and moths spread their wings open and flat. Impress your friends when you tell them that their pupal stage is marked by moths making silken cocoons, while butterflies form chrysalises that are hard, smooth and silkless.
