Disco Playlist
WE LOVE DISCO! We were born at a time when the genre was pure magic, not a cliché. Disco thrived during a singular decade, 1970-1980, uniting a diverse American tapestry—rich, poor, black, white, gay, straight—under the glimmering disco ball. The era shifted the spotlight from the stage to the dance floor, most notably at New York's iconic Studio 54. Even today, Nile Rodgers' signature CHIC sound influences modern dance music, inspiring everyone from Daft Punk to Lady Gaga.
Highlight: Love's Theme 1974 (Remastered with vocal), by Love Unlimited Orchestra (Barry White)

Speakeasy Swing Playlist
This playlist was inspired by hanging out late nights at The Maker in Hudson, NY. Songs have that that "speakeasy" jass (jazz) sound from 1917 to 1939, that's reminiscent of prohibition days with a dash of devil may care thrown in from the swing era. Lots of Brass and Horns. Artists include Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, King Oliver, Bix Beiderbecke, Sidney Bichet, Artie Shaw, Fletcher Henderson among others.
Highlight: Jumpin' At The Woodside by Count Basie

PURE Bill Evans Playlist
Jazz pianist Bill Evans, the creative genius behind the keys for legends like Miles Davis and Chet Baker, was an intellectual virtuoso. You can hear his thoughtfulness in each note. If you're not yet familiar, we're excited for you to discover his captivating music.
After guests leave and only our inner circle remains, we play Bill Evans for fireside chats about life's deeper layers.

Country vocal
Somewhere in 2022-23, I heard the music of Melissa Carper, and it changed the way I perceived "country" music.
We now live in the countryside in New York's Hudson Valley, and one hears country music on 8 of the 10 radio stations. This is not radio country music.
With our new 'Mr. P's Country Vocal' playlist, I hope to share a very different curation of country that resonates with me in a very modern, soulful, and nostalgic way.
I want to live in the world Melissa Carper has created with her music. This playlist only features female artists performing in the country genre.
Highlights: Makin' Memories, by Melissa Carper
MR. P x Marian Mcevoy
'Tropicália' Playlist
As we created this collection with Marian McEvoy, we found ourselves inspired by the 1960s Brazilian movement called Tropicália— an artistic movement encompassing music, art and writing celebrating Brazil's culture and people. The blended and smooth sounds of Bossa Nova and Samba were born out of this movement. The music creates an instant mood and makes all your guest happy and joyful!
