There is a long tradition of the animal candle, the shaped piece of wax that holds an image while it burns. The Partridge — cast in the form of a resting bird, its feathers suggested in the hand-poured surface — belongs to that tradition while remaining entirely of its time. In Blush, it reads as both sweet and considered: the color of a garden rose, or the inside of a seashell, against the clean warmth of beeswax. A single wick, twelve hours of burn time, and one quiet figure that makes wherever you put it feel as though it was always meant to be there.

Trim the Wick:

Always trim wicks to 1/4 inch before lighting.

Candle Safety:

Follow the 2-foot rule— don't place a burning candle near clothing, books, curtains or anything flammable. Place candle holders on a stable, heat-resistant surface that is sturdy and large enough to catch any melted wax. Keep lit candles away from drafts, ceiling fans and any air currents. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Extinguish all candles when you leave a room or before going to sleep or if the flame gets too close to the candle holder or container. A candle should not be burned for more than four hours at a time. For a margin of safety, discontinue burning a candle when 1/4 inch of wax remains in the container.

In summary:

• Burn Candles on a fireproof surface. 
• Before lighting and relighting candle trim wick to 1/4” to achieve maximum burn time and the least amount of dripping. 
• We suggest burning for 2-3 hours at a time. 
• Allow the candle to cool before relighting. 
• Burn candles within sight. 
• Keep candles away from things that can catch fire (curtain, tablecloth)
• Keep away from pets and children
• Keep away from a draft, open window or fan.
