Sarah V Battle: Sun Face Wax Seal Stamper

Sarah V. Battle's original collage for this seal was cut by hand: a sun face with a calm, knowing expression, surrounded by radiating points. The translation into brass relief preserves that quality—the slightly hand-drawn character that no machine-cut motif quite replicates. At 1.25 inches in diameter, this is the largest of the Mr. P wax seal stampers, leaving a presence on the back of an envelope that's hard to miss.

• Sarah V Battle's 'Sun Face' is engraved into the solid brass head to create the relief.
• Wooden handle
• Seal measures 1.25" (31.75mm) in diameter.
• Includes 2 black wax sticks. Simply light and let the wax drip on the back envelope flap enough to create a 'pool.' Press the seal into the wax and let sit for 30-45 seconds, or until the wax hardens. Gently pry seal away from wax.
• Includes a box of Mr. P's matches.
• Contents ship in a cotton-muslin drawcord pouch.
• Wax seals are not returnable, for any reason other than by mistake on our part.
